The Ramble is a vibrant community, where a wide range of events take place throughout the year. From holiday gatherings to 5k runs to wine tastings, unique amenities and stunning landscapes bring residents together to make memories.
Some of our most popular events include the summer and fall concerts.
This year’s Fall Concert returned to Longmeadow Park on the last Saturday of September. It was a crisp evening that delivered clear skies, a picturesque golden hour and a sneak peak of autumn.
Guests blanketed the lawn of Longmeadow Park, embracing the setting’s most welcoming characteristics as both an outdoor living room and natural amphitheater. Just as the sun was touching the tree line, Charlotte-based classical and cover band Continental Divide took the stage. Equipped with both a dazzling blazer and voice, R&B vocalist Gene Pharr projected hit songs by artists such as Stevie Wonder and Van Morrison.
Local vendors added excitement and flavor across the landscape. Along the trees in the lawn, Asheville Hoops set an exciting dance floor for happy hula hoopers of all ages. Guests were delighted by local food truck Garage BBQ and Blunt Pretzels. Local beverages from Green Man Brewery and Urban Orchard Cider Co. were available along with plenty of kid-friendly selections. Families, friends, and loved ones were able to kick back and relax or dance together through the evening as dusk fell upon Longmeadow Park.
The night added another step to the trail of memories throughout The Ramble and marked an official transition into fall. We look forward to upholding the annual tradition of Ramble concerts in Longmeadow Park, while bringing in new talent each summer and fall.
In the meantime, Ramble residents will bundle up for more entertaining events in their very own neighborhood. Next up is The Ramble Run 2022 on Sunday, November 13th, a 5k run/walk through the neighborhood trails which offer views of Dingle Creek and luscious, tall trees every step of the way.
