The Ramble Charitable Fund was established by Biltmore Farms to improve the quality of life in the area.

The primary goal of the fund has always been to enhance the local community by supporting education, economic development, health care, the arts & culture, and the environment. Initially seeded by Biltmore Farms, a portion of Ramble lot and home sale proceeds benefit the endowment fund, creating a sizable resource to support charitable projects.

It's administered by the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.

The Ramble Charitable Fund is administered by the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina. Twice yearly, grant proposals are reviewed by the fund’s board. Tax-exempt and government entities that serve the South Buncombe community and not specifically The Ramble neighborhood are eligible to apply for grants.
